Embrace Challenge. Support One Another.

At Mercy Christian Academy, we place a strong emphasis on academics in order to prepare our students for a successful college and employment career. The management of our academic programs is entrusted to John Melvin Christian University Systems, LLC. This esteemed organization has a proven track record of fostering academic, athletic, and spiritual growth in students of all ages.

Mercy Christian Academy provides students with a nurturing and diverse learning environment that fosters growth and empowers them to achieve their dreams while following God's plan. Our exceptional teaching methods aim to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful future.

We place great emphasis on active participation and engagement in the learning process. We believe that a truly effective education goes beyond mere memorization or routine exercises. Our courses are designed to promote critical thinking, analysis, and collaborative learning, enabling students to deeply comprehend and retain the material.

At MCA, we offer courses in two formats: Online Learning (OL) and Distance Learning (DL). These formats provide flexibility and convenience to cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Online Learning (OL) allows students to learn at their own pace. These classes are conducted entirely online, without any in-person meetings or specific time commitments. Students can access course materials through the Mercy Christian Academy LMS. Our dedicated instructors and teaching assistants are available for support and guidance throughout the course.

Distance Learning (DL) also offers a flexible learning experience. While there is no requirement for in-person attendance, students are expected to participate in synchronous instruction according to the class schedule on Student Admin. This interactive format utilizes platforms such as Zoom, Moodle, LearnDash, and Google Workspace to facilitate seamless online engagement.

Additionally, we provide a Study Hall (SH) for our student-athletes. It is mandatory for them to attend in-person study hall sessions from Monday to Thursday on campus. During these sessions, students can benefit from the guidance of tutors and academic advisors, ensuring their academic success.
